We are in the running to be named best provider in UK
We are in the running to be named the best provider of our kind in the UK after we won a place in the final of prestigious national awards.
We were this week named on the shortlist to be crowned Care and Support Provider of the Year in the 24housing Awards, which are run by the national trade magazine of the same name and recognise the best the industry has to offer.
One of our tenants, Doris Land, also won a place on the shortlist in the Tenant Champion category. The 70-year-old has made an exceptional contribution to represent tenants in spite of a series of serious health issues.
A ceremony will be held at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry on October 8th to crown the winner.
Our chief executive, Bruce Moore, said: “We so pleased to have made the final in not one but two categories of these prestigious awards.
“It is a mark of the great success we have had over the last year that we are in the running to be named the best care and support provider in the UK.
“And to have our resident Doris recognised for her work is fantastic and a testament to what she has achieved.”
The news of the double award nomination follows our recent placing in the top ten developing landlords in the country after we built more than 1,000 homes at a cost of more than £145million in 2014/15.
